  Make Your Hoses Last Longer

  The skid pan/turtle shell or concrete hose placement disc is used to reduce friction on the hose from the ground. Hoses used for pumping often surge backwards and forwards on the ground creating a bare patch on the hose. Once the wires are exposed they can corrode very quickly or if the hose isn't turned or replaced, the wires will break leading to an increase risk of bursting. Hose skid pans protect the hose connection/clamp/clip/coupling from damage when moving. They provides a great system to help move and slide flexible concrete pump hose over rebar during concrete pours.
  
  By using the skid pan, you're lifting the hose from the ground, eliminating the abrasion, extending the life of the hose and therefore saving cost on replacement hoses. Having a slightly domed base, the hose can be easily moved around site without the skid pan and hose overturning.
  Can be used for pipe line as well.
