PUTZMEISTER HAS BEEN THE PREFERRED CHOICE FOR LEGENDARY CONSTRUCTIONS ACROSS THE GLOBE
As an innovative, technology-driven company, our credo is to be “closer to your business”. We provide customized solutions to complex and diverse challenges faced by our clients in every part of the globe.
Our machines have been used to construct some of the world’s most-renowned and iconic structures, and have set world records along the way. Here are just a few of those projects:
9/11 Monument, New York, New York, USA: From the compact 20Z-Meter to the largest 63Z-Meter and the innovative Putzmeister Telebelt® TB 130 conveyor- all were successfully employed to complete a project that had difficult to reach pours, varied mixes, congested site and an exacting deadline.
Hoover Dam, Boulder City, Nevada, USA: Putzmeister truck and semi-trailer- mounted boom pumps, separate placing booms and BSA trailer pumps helped overcome the unique challenges posed by the location of the dam.
Panama Canal, Panama City, Central America: Six Putzmeister Telebelt® TB 130 telescopic belt conveyors placed concrete and gravel for the Panama Third Set of Locks’ batching and crushing plant’s foundation.
San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, California, USA: Putzmeister's 70Z-Meter took concrete placement to the extreme on the Oakland Touchdown (OTD), helping to place 2,600 cubic yards of concrete (1,988m3), along with 63Z- and 46-Meter boom pumps.
Wilshire Grand, Los Angeles, California, USA: Twelve Putzmeister truck-mounted concrete boom pumps ranging from 32Z-47Z Meters, two Putzmeister placing boom towers, and two Putzmeister trailer-mounted concrete pumps were strategically placed both inside and above the excavation.
Modern Art Museum, Fort Worth, Texas, USA: The Putzmeister 36-Meter and 28Z-Meter helped bring a master architect’s vision to life, creating something magical despite the delicate conditions.
Amazon Campus, Seattle, Washington, USA: Putzmeister's One-Sided Support (OSS) outrigger system allowed the operator to reduce the outrigger extension on one side of the unit to create a smaller overall machine footprint for this busy job site.
Tacoma Narrows, Tacoma, Washington, USA: The addition of a parallel bridge required BSA 14000 pumping concrete into its walls, whereby a caisson started and two MXKD 38/42 placing booms were responsible for simultaneously placing the concrete.
Gwinett County Stadium, Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA: The home of the Atlanta Braves could not have been completed on time without the efficiency and flexibility of the Putzmeister 38Z-Meter and 47Z-Meter boom pumps.
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA: The Putzmeister 52Z-Meter boom pump rose to the challenge of helping expand the Lambeau Field stadium without interfering with the fan experience or business events.
